To target or not to

I was lucky enough to review www.bodytarget.co.uk product. To simplify it is a platform which generates a menu/plan for your health goal.

As a disclaimer I do want to say I wasn’t religious in my use of Body Target… however saying that I did enjoy the recipes (and to be honest it taught me a few new health recipes which I loved (my fav can be seen at the bottom of the article)) and the platform was easy to use.

Why I wasn’t religious with my use? Well, I kept forgetting to use it to be honest … and one suggestion I would put forward for Body Target is to create an accompanying app which notifies you of meals and what you should be eating… if you haven’t thought about that … I’ll be here waiting for any royalties.

Benefits

  • Pretty cheap – 8 pounds per month.
  • Really easy to use and takes the stress out of thinking of meals
  • You continually update the platform on stuff you don’t like and do like meaning the recipes become more tailored the more you use it.

 

Negatives

  • I’m going to contradict myself here. And this is a personal thought. I quite like the romanticism of thinking of what to have for food… rather than knowing straight away because you’re told.
  • No app

 

Thank you for letting me review the product! I would recommend it/have already. Also find an example of a recipe below from their website( Thai Green Chicken curry);

Ingredients

Vegetable Oil1 tbsp
Garlic Clove Chopped1
Thai Green Curry Paste2 Tbsp
Coconut Milk200ml
New Potatoes Cut Into Chunks150g
Green Beans Halved80g
Thai Fish Sauce (nam Pla)4 tsp
Caster Sugar1 tsp
Skinless And Boneless Chicken Breasts Cut Into Pieces2
Lime Leaves Or Zest1 leaf chopped or 1/2 tsp zest
Fresh Basil2 Leaves chopped

 

Instructions

Heat oil in a large wok, drop in the garlic and stir until Golden, add the curry paste and stir for a couple of minutes, then pour in the coconut milk and bring to the boil. Add the potatoes simmer for 10 minutes, then the beans simmer for 5 minutes more. Both the potatoes and the beans should be tender by now if not cook a little longer. Stir in the fish sauce and sugar then add the chicken , cover and simmer for 10 mins until tender. Before serving stir in the lime leaves or zest, followed by the basil.
