Abra-kebabra!

Hi fellow hackers,

I’m writing this one sat on an exercise bike, the gym is so busy i’m left with one of those fly-wheel spin bikes so hopefully my lungs can hold out!!

So less about me and more about your dinner… this is a quick, easy, hassle-free tasty lamb kebab recipe to get your teeth into!

Prep time 15-20 mins

Ingredients 

  • Wholemeal pita
  • Lamb steak
  • Dried mint + Oregano
  • Low-fat natural yogurt
  • Salad; lettuce, red onion, cucumber, peppers. Down to preference really.
  • Lemon.

Recipe

You’re looking to GRILL…make sure it is grilled and not roasted so the juices drain instead of mixing with the yogurt! So grill the lamb steaks seasoned with oregano and mint until 3/4 cooked.

Remove from oven and smother in low-fat natural yogurt and sprinkle more seasoning on depending on preference.

leave until cooked.. Hey presto! Fill a wholemeal pita with salad and some more yogurt if you like or not… Drizzle lemon on top if you’re feeling posh/mediterranean.

Plate me up and call me pita pan!!
